The modern control system of the FRÖMAG Rapida E combines efficiency, reliability

and ease of use in one interface.

The modern operating concept includes the 15" touchscreen (no keypad) with

dialog control in plain text, ergonomic working height as well as the quick setup and

changeover for changing tasks by finely coordinated tools. Up to 600 different work

programs can be stored in the controller.

The touch panel can be rotated and pivoted and designed by its robustness perfect

for everyday workshop and production use. Alternatively the control panel can be

integrated into an optional movable stand.

FRÖMAG support can connect directly to your machine via an integrated remote

maintenance router. The remote maintenance router is integrated into your network

and receives a DHCP address from your server. By safe VPN connection remote

diagnosis on trouble shooting can be done remotely, updates of the machine

firmware can be uploaded.

The stroke and infeed motions of the FRÖMAG Rapida E are performed

electromechanically. Highly dynamic servo technology and precision ball screws

are combined to deliver the best possible machining results. This allows an infeed

rate of 0.01 - 1.5 mm per stroke and a material-dependent variable cutting speed of

up to 30 m/min. Through the use of modern, absolute measurement technology

homing is omitted in the initialization, setup times are significantly reduced.

The Rapida E has an integrated coolant system.

FRÖMAG keyseating - and profiling machines are environmentally friendly and have

low heat and noise emissions too. Due to the electro-mechanical transmission, no

further maintenance incurs on hydraulic systems. This reduces follow-up costs.

The cabinet is mounted on the right side of the machine body and needs no extra

floor space.

By using perfectly matching mechanical components FRÖMAG keyseating- and

profiling machines achieve long life cycles in economic work. The generously sized,

flat machine table with a polished center groove and two additional T-slots enables

the precise setup and machining of large, heavy workpieces and the use of a wide

variety of devices.

The achievable slotting groove width is 50 % of the maximum keyseating width.

The manual and automatic indexing table TA180, TA290 and TA400 can be used to

handle multiple keyways and internal gears.
