$49,500 (USD)

Location:Alabama

Description

TITAN 11-14/4, 14 ft. common cutting width (first three positions closest to the control), with brushless AC servo drives and planetary gear boxes providing positioning speed of 1000 1PM.

•            The steel beam has a 8" by 12" cross section and is stress relieved prior to machining, all contributing to minimizing bending and twisting.

•            The upper "Y" axis way has one (1) piece hardened rounds on which cam rollers ride providing proper load bearing for smooth motion.

•            Carriage centers can be as close as 6". A maximum of two (2) plasma systems and two (2) marking systems can be implemented. A maximum of four (4) or eight (8) total stations can be provided depending upon the

beam size.

•            Planetary gear boxes with near zero backlash in both "X" and "Y" axis virtually eliminate backlash providing smooth, consistent motion.

•           Large diameter, 3.2", hardened pinions are used in the "X" axis to efficiently transfer the torque. The wide faced gear racks contribute to moving the heavy gantry efficiently.

•           A 2.0" wide stainless steel band positions the carriages smoothly.

•            Proper "X" axis pinion engagement is assured via a unique spring cam arrangement.

•           Per ISO 230-2 Acceptance Code for machine tools, using a laser interferometer, X and Y axis motion accuracy and repeatability is targeted as follows:

o       X-axis: .018" accuracy (in 72" travel), .005" repeatability

o       Y-axis: .018" accuracy (in 72" travel), .005" repeatability

There is no track with this machine But it was wired for: or shorter

41.2 Feet effective cut length

41.2 Feet longitudinal ('X' axis) powertrak travel with connection mast (LEFT-HAND, OVERHEAD)

•        IGUS Polymer enclosed power chain/track

•        Series R880

•        Rides between guide channels (which are included)

•        Vertical separator bars to segregate hoses and cables

•        The polymer material is a wear resistant composite

The chain rides on itself (there are no drum rollers)

Enclosed transverse axis ("Y" axis) powertrak

IGUS energy chain, series 3480 vertical separator rods create compartments that are dedicated to electrical wiring, plasma leads, or oxyfuel hoses.

Gear rack air blast

•        The air purge system located on the side of each end truck cleans the gear rack ("X" axis).

VIRTUAL SERVICE:

Virtual Service TM

This unique package allows our team of experts to remotely diagnose many problems that, in the past, would have required a technician on-site. Through the use of your internet connection, we are able to view the same data being displayed to the operator back at our facility. Now through the vast amount of diagnostic information in the Global Control, including an on-board oscilloscope, we can perform remote troubleshooting and updates to your software as necessary. (Includes a one-year subscription)

0         Must have network and high-speed internet connection to Global Control.

0           Each subsequent year subscription rate is $500, provided the customer is part of our

0          Preventative Maintenance Program. Otherwise, the subsequent year subscription rate is $1,000.

IVIDEO CAMERA:

Video Camera

•        The camera can be used by the operator as both an alignment tool and to monitor the cutting process. Turn the crosshair "on" and capture 2, 3 or 5 points along the edge(s) of the plate to align the part program to the same angle as the plate. Turn the crosshair "off" for an unobstructed, glare-free view.

•        This feature simplifies set-up, reduces cycle time and eliminates scrap.

OXYFUEL EQUIPMENT:

Omniflow Automatic Gas Controller (up to 16 torch inches)

•        The Omniflow provides automatic setting and regulation of cutting oxygen, preheat oxygen and fuel gas pressures for oxy-fuel cutting.

•        In addition, dual fuel gas pressures can be set for faster preheating. Precise control of the piercing process is possible through multiple methods of ramping cutting oxygen up to the final cutting pressure.

•        The Omniflow Control unit provides a separate user interface which contains a database of cutting parameters for oxyfuel torches. No look-up charts

•        Using the Omniflow Control unit, the operator selects the torch nozzle, plate thickness, torch tip and gas type. The correct gas pressures are then automatically transmitted to the Omniflow gas control module.

•        Additionally the unit advises the operator of the correct settings for cutting speed, kerf and pierce time. No look-up chart need be referenced.

•        Inlet fuel gas pressure at the station outlet regulator must be a minimum of 25 psi (flowing).

One (1) Alfa Oxyfuel Cutting Torch

•        Magnetic height sensing integrated into the torch

•        Internal ignition

•        No need for sensing rings or additional cables

•        Ability to sense right to the very edge of the material

•        No need for tools to change nozzles

•        Slag, mill & moisture no longer have a negative effect on the height

•        Drastically reduces set-up time

One (1) Messer OL200 Oxyfuel Lifter - "swivel-style" holder

•        Increased part accuracy as a result of accurate height sensing

•        Precision ball screw and dual linear guides provide a smooth and rigid platform for vertical positioning of the cutting or marking tool

•        150 inch/minute vertical speed minimizes non-productive time

•        Sealed bearings are virtually maintenance-free

•        Maximum stroke is 7.75" (200 mm)

Heat resistant package

•        When cutting 4" or thicker material, this package, which includes a heat shield and high temperature cabling for the oxy-fuel stations, is highly recommended.

•        The heat shield is located several inches beneath the beam and extends under the electrical panels. The shield deflects the heat and provides an air insulating gap, allowing the heat to dissipate, while protecting internal wiring and electronic components.

•        Heat protective sheathing is placed around the cabling of each torch station, even though high temperature cabling is used.

OXYFUEL EQUIPMENT CONTINUED:

Oxyfuel station outlet equipment

•        Station outlet consists of pre assembled piping with regulators for machine air, cutting oxygen and the selected fuel gases.

•        The appropriate fittings are attached to the outlet side to mate with the Messer supplied hoses. Station outlet should be mounted in close proximity to the "x" axis powertrack entry point.

•        The customer is responsible for the piping to the inlet side of each station outlet assembly.

PLASMA EQUIPMENT:

One (1) Hypertherm HPR400XD HyPerformance plasma system - Automatic Gas Console

•        Enhanced HyDefinition cutting at 1/2 the operating cost

•       Superior cut quality and consistency throughout the life of the consumables as measured against ISO 9013 standard

•       HyDefinition cutting up to 38% faster than other high density systems

•        Produces virtually dross-free cuts in MS up to 2" and SS or AL up to 1-3/4"

•        Quick-disconnect torch minimizes downtime during consumable change-out

•       All plasma process data can be remotely set by the operator at the Global Control via a serial link to the automatic gas console and plasma power supply. This means all parameters are controlled by the exclusive

Messer Cutting Systems database in the Global Control including remote on/off of the power supply

•       Easily switch between cutting and marking using the same consumables via the part program
