OBM Press
The Single point hydraulic OBM-Series presses are the Single Cylinder version of the Pacific Two Point OBL-Series Press line. The OBM's rugged construction features, 6-point square type gibbing, large bolster area, generous open height, and full power stroke make the OBM ideally suited for notching, multiple punching, coining, embossing, bending, forming and draw operations.
The OBM is equipped with a Pendant mounted, color screen P.L.C. Interface Control (Allen Bradley 600 Panel View) to provide minimum set-up time and maximum flexibility. Tonnage is programmed directly through the control.
Each press is equipped with a compact, high-speed hydraulic system enabling extremely fast cycle speeds that can equal or surpass those of mechanical presses of comparable size. The power unit provides three fully adjustable advanced speeds and two return speeds. Large double acting cylinders provide bonus support to cushion the breakthrough shock of punching and blanking with resulting improvements in punch and die area from all four sides and permit ready adaptability to continuous automated feeding systems.
OBM-Series presses are designed to be application oriented. The rugged, reinforced bed is interlocked to deep side housings for maximum rigidity and resistance to deflections under the most severe operation conditions. Generous side openings allow access to the die area from all four sides and permit ready adaptability to continuous automated feeding systems.
The large box-type slide is guided by Pacific's adjustable 6-point square-type gibbing, to assure maximum bearing contact with long non-metallic gib surfaces. Tool life is increased due to tight gib clearances and accurate alignment of the slide.
Other standard features include; keyed mode selection with the pendant mounted P.L.C. Interface Control, two-handed control, Programmable tonnage control through the P.L.C. Interface Control, automatic centralized lubrication system and Fixed Window Barrier Guards with adjustable pass line height.
The OBM-Series is available in Ten models of 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 375, 500, 600, 750 and 1000 ton capacities.
